Clinical trials of Jupiter looks at the treatment of ovarian cancer

JUPITER - Jupiter Medical Center is enrolling in a clinical trial patients to examine an experimental treatment for women with cancer of the ovary Platinum sensitive which has recurred.

The trial is sponsored by Morphotek and focuses on a monoclonal antibody experimental - farletuzumab - which may well block the protein involved in the development of the tumor cells in Platinum-sensitive ovarian cancer.

Researchers are eager to discover if a new drug may extend the duration of the second restoration gals who have relapsed after six months of their latest method of treatment.
